Wigand was tortured by him in order to reveal more information on the ghouls at the Forest inn, the presence of a necromancer and the re-appearance of Drachenfels (rumours Wigand had launched in order to scare Gotwin).
Christina Asper was able to stop him from also interrogating Gotwin, and release Wigand, after mentioning that Magnus Greel, apparently Jager's superior, had had to leave Ostland after a certain "incident" and suggested he should rejoin his master.
Castian and Jager had an altercation when the initiate questioned the justice in the hunter's practices, which resulted in the Witchhunter's threats of having the young priest excommunicated lest he held his tongue.
